Big Durian film

1)What scene in "The Big Durian" made an impression on you, and why?
The most impression scene is a scene where the camera is chasing after a member of public and focus on the malay women is keeping refusing to interview. She keep saying “I don’t know” and run away. I think she may feel embarrassing and nervous in front of camera.

2) What was rumoured to be Private Adam's grouse (pain)/reason which lead to him running amuck (amok)?
Adam’s brother killed by the sultan of Johore during Adam's brother in the sultan's house.
For my opinion, Adam was feeling disappointed with government treat unfairness to him and on his brother incident, so that he want give regarding issues message send to public through of this film.

3) A character from Sabah ends her narrative by noting the look on Private Adam's face. What was it that she saw and how does it contrast with her feelings?
The Sabah's girl saw that Adam has a freedom of life and did his like things, make her jealous that hopeful can get that same life of Adam and achieve what she wants.

4) From what historical vantage point is the director viewing the events of 1987? what is "present" of the documentary and what is its mood?
Director Amir is trying to find out the Malaysian's perspective through capture on this film and sharing with public of talk about race, religion, and education and politic. All of these were reflected that citizens perception and can release out what their wants. He was creative and strong subjective with element of historical, all can seen in the film. Fortunately, Amir accomplishes his mission with struggling in the processes of production in this film.
