He is a friendly driver when I was first time seated his taxi while seeing him so that I asked him would interest being my interview respondent. He was agree that would describing his story by a journey belonging of working life with explore freshness things in everyday. Nevertheless, I couldn't take video for interview process because he only can speak Chinese and refuse to appearance his face. The only ways I was taking photo to show that the historical places he brought me along and told me lots of histories and as memorable experience of him. My interview is revealing life experience of Uncle Johnny during he was starting drive taxi toward Bukit Bintang area to share the emotional journey in his pass life. Bukit Bintang is central point of Kuala Lumpur, located of shopping centers, commercial shops, banks, offices and restaurants. This area has focused on high-tech industries as well as the lucrative service industries, specifically commercial and tourism. I also ignore the people as unkindly groups of foreigner, such as workers from Bangladesh, Indian, or Nigerian. This kinds of people will looks doubtful because they as illegal residential and will doing anything of without restriction in our country.

Jalan Alor was a second location of along with Uncle Johnny. This street is famous of foods as called "foods street" and is very well known by locals and tourists. Jalan Alor is majority of Chinese food and has variety famous foods of Kuala Lumpur. This place also has more than thirty years history time since bukit bintang has been developed as cities area.
Uncle Johnny: Jalan Alor has been changed name to Jalan Kejora in few month ago, but had changes back to Jalan Alor after many peoples made complained. The name of Jalan Alor has been used around 35 years, it is a history and memories street for everyone is known well of this name. It is should not get changed the name, even we also would not know the new name Jalan Kejora is Jalan Alor. The government was useless to did changes road name for the Chinese population area.
The others location linking with Jalan Alor is Changkat Bukit Bintang. It is popular of nightlife and entertainment area which is available variety country dining restaurant. Uncle Jonney is staying here, he told me his house as a historical building almost thirty years history. By the way, it has some historical premises of residential houses and most of it has been changed for commercial property as budget hotels, restaurants or mini grocery store.

Presepolis- An Iran girl's life

At first, presepolis is illustrate a little girl name Marjane who lose her happiness family life with leave to foreign country when she was teens. Although it is featuring of animation film but it looked as a true story as live feature. I have strong emotion in the character which the little girl's life experiences and sympathy to her at same time because she was born at wrong country which Islamic Revolution in Iran.

From the film's story, it is describing that character's expression and emotion through reflected her depressed, lose and asolated when she stayed alone strange land. In between, she was confused at the intricacy of the world, thrilled of entering adulthood and her identity. She had gain experienced loves and friendship when she was staying in foreign country. Also, she had changed to listen punk music, addicted smoking and alcohol, and without wears "tudung" scraf of muslim custom.

In my opinion, she might couldn't acceptance these cruelty and cold blood world since she was living alone at strange country. However, she had lose of muslim religion belief instead of western lifestyle and thought because she is trying to reduce her depression and fearness from deeply heart.

This story has showed that conservatism of Iranese with over control human right for Inranese womens. The main issues concerned in this film are political turmoil, death, execution, and women’s oppression at Iran and living in tyrannical society. As consequences Marjane had destined unfortunely in her life but she also tried to hold a own destiny with setting her journey in French.

According to Edward Said's Islam as News, narrated he had identified the people's thought between Oriental and the Occident in the West. He point out that everyone should respect to every region of different cultural heritage with live of peaceful world . At last, Marjene was remember her origin and religion after she had struggled of life experiences.

Big Durian film

1)What scene in "The Big Durian" made an impression on you, and why?
The most impression scene is a scene where the camera is chasing after a member of public and focus on the malay women is keeping refusing to interview. She keep saying “I don’t know” and run away. I think she may feel embarrassing and nervous in front of camera.

2) What was rumoured to be Private Adam's grouse (pain)/reason which lead to him running amuck (amok)?
Adam’s brother killed by the sultan of Johore during Adam's brother in the sultan's house.
For my opinion, Adam was feeling disappointed with government treat unfairness to him and on his brother incident, so that he want give regarding issues message send to public through of this film.

3) A character from Sabah ends her narrative by noting the look on Private Adam's face. What was it that she saw and how does it contrast with her feelings?
The Sabah's girl saw that Adam has a freedom of life and did his like things, make her jealous that hopeful can get that same life of Adam and achieve what she wants.

4) From what historical vantage point is the director viewing the events of 1987? what is "present" of the documentary and what is its mood?
Director Amir is trying to find out the Malaysian's perspective through capture on this film and sharing with public of talk about race, religion, and education and politic. All of these were reflected that citizens perception and can release out what their wants. He was creative and strong subjective with element of historical, all can seen in the film. Fortunately, Amir accomplishes his mission with struggling in the processes of production in this film.

Malaysian Artist And Malaysia Histories

After I went Petronas gallery, I realized that I was interesting of Liew Kung Yu's Art work. He is a Malaysia artist and exclusive contemporary artists. Although he is fifty years old man but he is ambitious to achieve his dream as held an exhibition with photo collages titled “Cadangan-cadangan Untuk Negaraku” is means Proposal for My Country at Galleri Petronas for own country. His artwork was inspiring his own vision with Malaysian urban and ritual environment, Malaysian lifestyle and histories of multiracial society. Liew Kung Yu has exhibited widely over the region and internationally. He has worked in various media from installation and performance to theatre design. For these latest four large photo collages of public sculptures by photographed while traveling around the country. By the way, the historian author named Anthony Milner is writing Malaysia histories for published books. I would relevant the works from Liew Kung Yu between Anthony Milner, because both of them relevant with national histories.

Liew Kung Yu was elaborate and frenetic through in the art works, national achievement and representing our future life in Malaysia. However, I thought that his art works was inspired Malaysia history which is our multi racial culture, custom and community. The reason for this "Proposal for My Country "series where sophisticated visual technique with populist aesthetics into everyone can understands through his work.

Liew’s art works were linked an aesthetic of traditional cultures, and the latest Proposal for My Country has combined moral commitment associated with mural projects that normally instruct and impress upon the public the collective vision of a nation. Otherwise, histories context of geographic, demographic and political substance as subject reflected national unity society. The historical data and historical building would proved that previous period experiences and making sharing of Malaysian nation among multiethnic citizens. His art works also evoked these elements as well as performance of multiple perspectives, positions, visional for Malaysian.

Proposal for My Country series have created four large scale digital photo collages of Bandar Sri Tiang Kolom, Konkrit Jungle, Metropolis Warisan and Pantai Gelora Cahaya. All of these as a series of monumental real sense of happiness, success playful, and beautiful country of our environment with relationship between urban communities. These series photo collages as a symbolize civilisations adorn kampungs, natural environment, succeed development country, fastest growing economies and rapidly aging populations of migrants toward Malaysia.

In Liew’s work we can found that growth of a multi-racial nationalism through monumental Malaysian national development which as we shall see towards being a nation-building has been impressive of achievement economic and social development. Malaysia’s nation- building has been accompanied by high economic growth, such as airport, highways, LRT transits, KL Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower and Malaysia industrials. Liew used an ideas consist of nation building between Malaysia historical narrative virtually connection to the past and today. It also influences inspiration of Malaysian ambition and interests to understand more about own country.
